Goldman Sachs CEO Says Apple Card the ‘Most Successful Credit Card Launch Ever’

The Apple Card got everyone’s attention with special offers and low-interest rates. It also made headlines for accepting applicants with average credit scores. As we know Apple has tied up with Goldman Sachs for the credit card. Goldman Sachs CEO calls Apple Card the ‘Most Successful Credit Card Launch ever.’

The quote was part of Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon’s address to its investors. He further said that since the August launch the bank is witnessing a high demand for Apple Card.

In three short years, we have raised $55 billion in deposits on the Marcus platform, generated $5 billion in loans, and built a new credit-card platform and launched ‌Apple Card‌,” Solomon said, adding “which we believe is the most successful credit-card launch ever.

Since August, we’ve been pleased to see a high level of consumer demand for the product. From an operational and risk perspective, we’ve handled the inflows smoothly and without comprising our credit underwriting standards.

Apple Card is available for iOS users based in the U.S. Here is how to apply and use Apple Card. If you have already got the Apple Card then check out the best Apple Card tips and tricks.
Our Take

Apple alongsiwith Goldman Sachs is trying to change the way a credit card works. To begin with, on Apple Card you will get daily cashback, so no waiting for months to get your cashback. Thats not all, the card automatically breakdown transaction and helps you keep a track of your spending.

Once we move beyond the consumer perspective, the Apple Card seems like a very bullish bet by Goldman Sachs. The financial giant is spending as much as $350 to acquire new Apple Card users and analysts say that they might lose money. The odds of this happening increase if there is a recession in the next couple of years. Also Read:iTunes Could Not Connect to This iPhone

Is iCl0udin Tool Reliable to Unlock iCloud Activation

iCl0udin has been a tool to unlock iCloud activation or bypass Apple ID, but with a unique way of operation. It offers an opportunity to iPhone users whose Apple ID is locked or could not access their record. The fact that iCl0udin works remotely and can quickly remove the Apple ID from your device makes it a good tool to use when you have a problem signing into your device.

Once your Apple ID is removed from your device, you can be sure of able to use some features you were previously restricted. And give security to your device.

Where to Download iCl0udin?

Now, if you want to download this tool, just go to its official page here: http://iCl0udin.org/iCl0udin-download-2019/. This page show you the instructions to download iCl0udin for your iPhone. You can see the red “Register & Download iCl0udin_Unlock.zip” button.
Can You Download the Real iCl0udin - My Authentic Experience:

I found that iCl0udin is not available online even on its official website and it seemed that there is no such kind of tool at all.

When I clicked the “Register & Download iCl0udin_Unlock.zip” button in its official download page, it just guided me to another site where it asked you fill in some questionnaire. I though I might be able to download iCl0udin after answering some questions. But I was wrong. When I answered a questionnaire, it appeared to be another one. I could not have access to the iCl0udin download. I finally figured out that I was just tracked.

It seems that iCl0udin and its official websites are just phishing site that offers nothings valuable.

The following devices have been confirmed to receive this major update:

iPhone 7 / 7 Plus

iPhone 6s / 6s Plus

iPhone 6 / 6 Plus

Part 2: What does iOS 13 Apps Smaller Mean?

With the awesomeness of the iPhone, iPad, and other Apple mobile devices, it is easy to overlook certain factors and download/purchase as many apps as possible to bring out the rich experience of the devices. However, these applications usually take up useful space on the iDevices. Thankfully, Apple’s new iOS 13 has an answer to this challenge with iOS 13 apps smaller.

This particular feature is probably more essential than most other specs, in that it speeds up your iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch saves you mobile data used for downloading and updating apps, reduces heating, saves you quite some battery juice.
Part 3: What are the other Performance-enhanced Features in iOS 13?

iOS 13 is truly a superb operating system update. Not only are iOS 13 apps smaller, but the update also comes with other amazing performance-enabled features.

First, the apps might be smaller and still have large download sizes for updates, but this isn’t the case for the new iOS. iOS 13 apps smaller not only by their download sizes, but the updates will also reduce in size by 60%.

The iOS 13 apps smaller will also reduce the annoying lag you get when using Face ID unlocking, making the feature smarter and more fluid. The tech giants say that the iOS 13 apps smaller will lead to 30% faster Face ID unlocking. Similar to the points as mentioned earlier, apps on an iPhone running iOS 13 will open twice as fast as apps on the same iPhone if it was on iOS12.

Check here to know about more iOS 13 features revealed by Apple.
Part 4: How will iOS 13 Make Your iPhone/iPad Faster?

iOS 13 will speed up new apps thanks to the iOS 13 apps smaller and many other features, for which I have touched on a few under the previous. Some of these features include the following:

apps will start up faster by 100% because iOS 13 apps are smaller in size by 50%

reduces the space used by apps

faster application downloads

smaller sizes for application updates

speeds up Face ID unlocking by 30%

How to Jailbreak iOS 12.2 – iOS 12 on iPhone and iPad Using Unc0ver Jailbreak

The @Pwn20wnd team might not have updated Unc0ver jailbreak with support for A12 devices like the iPhone XS and iPhone XR but it has been quick to update its jailbreaking tool to use the new Sock Puppet exploit. This allows the tool to jailbreak iPhones and iPads running iOS 12.2 while it was previously limited to iOS 12 – iOS 12.1.2.

While one can now jailbreak iOS 12.1.2 – iOS 12.2, the Sock Puppet exploit being used is a bit unstable in nature. The Unc0ver team will likely resolve these issues with continuous future updates. Since Apple is no longer signing iOS 12.2, you cannot downgrade back to it if your iPhone or iPad is running a newer build of iOS. In such a scenario, there’s not much you can do except wait and hope that an iOS 12.3 jailbreak is also released soon.
Compatible Devices

For now, you can jailbreak the following iPhones and iPad using Unc0ver jailbreak

iPhone 5s (iOS 12 – iOS 12.1.2)

iPhone 6 (iOS 12 – iOS 12.1.2)

iPhone 6 Plus (iOS 12 – iOS 12.1.2)

iPhone 6s

iPhone 6s Plus

iPhone 7

iPhone 7 Plus

iPhone SE

iPhone 8

iPhone 8 Plus

iPhone X

iPad Air

6th gen iPad
Pre-Requisites

Delete any iOS 12 OTA file downloaded on your iPhone/iPad. Delete it from Settings -> Storage and then proceed to reboot your device before attempting to jailbreak it.

To prevent future iOS 12 OTA updates from being downloaded on your device, you can install the tvOS 12 profile on it.

Make sure to create a backup of all important data on the device.

While you can jailbreak iOS 12.1.2 – iOS 12.2 using Uncover, the Sock Puppet exploit is a bit unreliable in nature. It also has some issues with A7-A8 devices like the iPhone 5s, iPhone for now.
Guide to Jailbreak iOS 12 – iOS 12.2 Using Unc0ver
Step 1: Download Latest Unc0ver beta

On your iPhone/iPad running iOS 12 – iOS 12.2, go to ignition.fun. You can continue using the website instead of using the Ignition app.

Using the search button at the bottom, find unc0ver. Make sure to download the beta version of Unc0ver since that’s the one which supports iOS 12 – iOS 12.2 jailbreaking right now. Tap the Get button to download the app followed by the Install button from the prompt you get. Depending on the speed of your internet connection, the installation process can take a few minutes.

Step 2: Trust Certificate

Head over to Settings-> General -> Device Management. Tap the developer name and trust the certificate. Without this, you won’t be able to launch the unc0ver jailbreak app on your iPhone.
Step 3: Jailbreak iOS 12 – iOS 12.2 Using unc0ver

Open Unc0ver, tap the Jailbreak button and wait for the app to do its job. Your iPhone or iPad will respring during the process after which you should see the Cydia icon on your home screen.

If the app gets stuck at the “Extracting Cydia…”step, you will need to reboot your iPhone/iPad and then try to jailbreak it again.

After successfully jailbreaking your iPhone or iPad on iOS 12 – iOS 12.2 with unc0ver jailbreak, check out an exhaustive list of iOS 12 – iOS 12.1.2 compatible jailbreak tweaks to customize your iPhone.

Remember that you might face some stability issues if you have jailbroken your iPhone/iPad running iOS 12.1.3 – iOS 12.2. The Unc0ver team will hopefully fix them with future updates.Sponsor ads:

Several Apple’s iCloud Services Affected Due to Major Google Cloud Service Outage

If you’re facing issues with iMessage, iCloud Backup, Photos, etc. on your iPhone or iPad, then you’re not alone. Several of Apple’s iCloud services are currently facing issues due to a major outage with Google’s Cloud services.

According to Apple’s System Status page, 11 iCloud services are facing issues including Documents in the Cloud, iCloud Backup, iCloud Bookmarks & Tabs, iCloud Drive, iCloud Mail, iCloud Notes, iCloud Web Apps, iMessage, iWork for iCloud, Mail Drop, and Photos.

According to the System page, the issue is not widespread and affecting less than 1% of the users. The affected users are likely to “experience slower than normal performance with the service.”

Apple may be competing with Amazon, Google, and Microsoft, but ironically Apple relies on Amazon’s AWS services, Microsoft’s Azure and more recently Google’s Cloud services for its iCloud infrastructure.

The Google Cloud service outage is also affecting YouTube, Snapchat, Gmail, Nest, Discord, Google Analytics, and a number of other web services. A Google spokesperson told The Verge: “We are experiencing high levels of network congestion in the eastern USA, affecting multiple services in Google Cloud, GSuite and YouTube.”

If you’re facing issues with these services, then please let us know in the comments. We’ll let you know as soon as the issue has been resolved.

Snap a Picture of a Data Table and Import it As Excel Spreadsheet on Your iPhone

A couple of months ago, Microsoft teased that iPhone and Android owners could use the Excel app to click a picture of a table and automatically convert it into a spreadsheet. After rolling out the feature for Android smartphones in March, Microsoft has now finally added the feature to the Excel’s iOS app as well.

Converting data tables into a spreadsheet is as simple as it sounds: open the Excel app on your iPhone, tap the small camera icon you see at the bottom and point the iPhone’s camera to the data table. Crop the picture or make any adjustments to it if necessary and then wait for a second or two. The data table would be automatically imported into Excel in a spreadsheet format and you can then edit it as per your liking.

What to Expect at WWDC 2019: iOS 13, macOS 10.15, watchOS 6, More

Apple’s worldwide developer’s conference is just around the corner. On June 3rd, Apple will hold the keynote address where it will feature the new operating system updates for all four of its major platforms: iOS, macOS, watchOS and tvOS. And this time, it looks like we might see some hardware or more details about Apple’s upcoming services. What exactly can you expect to see at WWDC 2019? Read on to find out.
WWDC 2019: What to Expect
1. iOS 13

As always, Apple will lead WWDC keynote with an update to its biggest software platform. And this time we are going to see a lot of interesting things. And after a dull year, 2019 should be the year of great software updates on the iPad side as well.

Plenty of features in iOS 13 have already been confirmed by leaks.

Dark Mode: The much-awaited dark mode is finally coming.

Better iPad Multitasking: Apple is going to improve iPad multitasking by introducing a floating panel feature that will give users the ability to move windows freely, similar to how it works on macOS.

iPad as a Second Display: There’s a rumored feature called Sidecar that will let you use the iPad as a second display for a Mac, wirelessly.

Improved Safari: Safari on the iPad will now automatically load the desktop version of the site.

New Volume HUD: Finally, Apple is going to replace the annoying volume overlay with something that is less distracting.

New Reminders App: There’s going to be a new reminders app written from the ground up.

Find My App: Apple is merging its Find my Friends and Find my iPhone app into one. The new app will come with a revamped UI and offer enhanced functionality.

Smarter Siri: Siri is going to get smarter in iOS 13 with improved voice recognition, support for new Siri extensions, and more.

We’ve talked about the leaked iOS 13 features in detail in our roundup here. We’ve also got a separate wishlist of features we want to see in iOS 13 (that didn’t make it to the leaked list).
2. macOS 10.15

The upcoming version of macOS is going to have quite a lot of features from iOS 12 and iOS 13.

iPad apps on Mac: Apple is going to let developers write iPad apps that will work directly on macOS with little tweaks.

Screen Time: iOS 12’s Screen Time is finally coming to the Mac. This screen will help Mac users see just how much time they’re spending on the Macs.

New Mac Apps: The Podcasts app is coming to Mac. There is going to be a standalone Music app as well. Plus, the new Find my iPhone app is coming to the Mac along with iOS 13’s new Reminders app.

Siri Shortcuts: Siri Shortcuts integration along with Shortcuts app is coming to macOS. We don’t know how exactly Shortcuts app will work in macOS and if it will be as limited as the iOS version.

Read our detailed breakdown of macOS 10.15 leaked features to learn more.
3. watchOS 6

More Watch Faces: Sorely needed for Apple Watch Series 4, Apple is going to be adding newly designed watch faces to the mix. There’s going to be a new watch face with extra large time stamp, a gradient-based watch face, a watch face that looks like a sundial, and a new Infograph Subdial face.

More Complications: Apple will be adding a couple of useful new complications to the mix.

App Store on Watch: Apple is adding App Store directly to the Watch so users can download and start using apps without ever touching the iPhone.

Voice Memos: The Voice Memos app will come to the Apple Watch so users can quickly take notes from their wrist.

Books App: The new Books app will let users listen to audiobooks right from the Apple Watch.

New Health-Related Apps: A new app called Dose will help users take medicines on time. A new app called Cycles will be used for tracking menstrual cycles.

Why Won’t My Phone Charge, How to Fix?

Part 1. Why is My Phone not Charging?

In this section of the guide, you are going to find out the reasons why your phone is not charging. It is only after finding out why your phone is not charging that you can find out the possible fixes to the issue.
Cause 1. Faulty Charging Cable

If the cable that you use to charge your phone is faulty and has issues with it, you will likely face the issue where your phone will not charge at all. It is simply because the power from the cable never reach the power source on the phone.
Cause 2. Dirty USB Port

Over the time the USB port on your phone collects a large amount of dust that makes the port unfunctional. The dust that the USB port has collected makes it impossible for the port to serve or get any power from external cables.
Cause 3. Phone Software Issue

It could also be the case that your phone has an issue in its operating system, also called phone software, which is causing your phone not to charge. In this case, all the efforts you make to physically clean your phone will not work.

The above section answers your "why isn t my phone charging" question. The following section should teach you how to fix the issue.
Part 2. What to Do When Your Android Phone Won't Charge?

Now that you know the possible causes as to why your phone will not charge, the following are some of the fixes you can apply to your phone and get rid of the issue on your device.

Here's how to fix the "my phone wont charge" issue on your phone:
1. Try a Different Power Source

The first thing you will want to do is try a different source of power as the one you currently use may have issues with it. Doing so will not do any harm to your phone and you may get lucky and can get your issue fixed by just changing the power source.
2. Check/replace charging cable

If your charging cable looks damaged or faulty, check it thoroughly and see if you can fix it. If you cannot, get it replaced with a genuine and working cable to ensure your phone charges without any issues.
3. Check and Clean USB port

Your USB port may have accumulated a lot of dust if you do not clean it regularly. If this is the case, go ahead and take a clean cloth and use it to gently wipe the USB port on your phone. This will clean the port of any dust or other dirty elements.
4. Check/replace the wall adapter

Wall adapters should also be in working condition if you use them to charge your phones. If they have an issue with them, you will face issues getting your phone to charge using those wall adapters. Check yours and get it replaced if it does not work.
5. Reboot Your Phone

Your phone may have got stuck somewhere and sometimes rebooting the phone resolves the charging issue. Simply hold down the Power button for a few seconds and choose the reboot option to easily reboot your phone.
6. Reboot to Safe Mode

If your phone does not reboot in the normal mode, you may try rebooting it in the safe mode so you can investigate and fix the software issues on your device. Each phone has a different key combination to get into safe mode and you may want to check the manual of your phone to learn how to do the task.
7. Replace the Battery

Batteries on most phones do not last a lifetime and you may want to replace yours with a fresh one if yours has been running on the phone for many years.

Not Everything That ‘Happens on Your iPhone, Stays on Your iPhone’

A new report by The Washington Post claims that they’ve found 5,400 hidden app trackers spying and stealing user data, in just one single week. The report claims Apple is misleading with their advertising.

The controversial “What happens on your iPhone, stays on your iPhone” ad campaign has brought a lot of unwanted (for Apple) attention to issues regarding their mobile platform. After Apple’s bold claims, The Washington Post discovered that a lot of third-party apps have way too much access to your data, and Apple isn’t doing anything about it.

Over 5,400 trackers were found in just a single week, sending Geoffrey A. Fowler‘s personal data to companies he has never heard about before. Trackers were found in places they had no right to be. They weren’t there just to show you relevant ads but to outright steal your private information and sell it to the highest bidder.

The firm “Disconnect” helped Mr Fowler analyse the device. Their CTO and former National Security Agency researcher Patrick Jackson commented on the matter:

“This is your data. Why should it even leave your phone? Why should it be collected by someone when you don’t know what they’re going to do with it? […] I know the value of data, and I don’t want mine in any hands where it doesn’t need to be,”

Apple should take more responsibility for what apps on their platform do with their users’ data, says The Washington Post. While Apple carefully lets users block access to microphone, camera, location and similar settings for certain apps, it turns a blind eye towards other forms of data collection that are running like the wild west on your iPhone.

While Apple takes better care than most in terms of their own services and encrypts data, or even doesn’t collect it in the first place, they’re not acting on the real issue, which are third-parties.Sponsor ads:

7 Solutions to Fix iCloud Keeps Asking for Password on iPhone/iPad 2019

7 Solutions to Fix iCloud Keeps Asking for Password on iPhone/iPad

In this part, we will explain the most practical fixes to address “iCloud keeps asking for password” issue. You don’t have to try all these fixes and just try one after the other and see which one works.
Solution 1. Check Whether iCloud is Working

First of all, you should check if the iCloud is working. Occasionally, iCloud can experience some server issues on their end. To check this, you should visit system status of Apple on your device. If all the services are green, there is no error. If there is an error, just wait for Apple to fix the issue.

Solution 2. Restart Your iPhone/iPad

Restarting the iOS device and signing into Apple ID Profile once again may fix this issue.

For iPhone 6S or older, iPads and iPod Touch devices, just press Home and Power simultaneously. You will see the Apple logo eventually.

For iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, press and hold Volume Down with Side buttons until you see Apple logo (for about 10 seconds).

For iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, you should press Volume Up button and release it quickly. Then, perform a short press on Volume Down button as well. As the last step, press the Side button to see the Apple logo.

Now, go to Settings, select Apple ID Profile and provide the Apple ID credentials to sign in.

Solution 3. Check the WiFi Connection

For many users, the cause behind this issue is an error in their WiFi connection. To check if it works correctly, you should visit a webpage on another device that is connected to the same network. If it doesn’t work, then there might be something wrong with the WiFi connection. If not, restart your device and see.

Solution 4. Sign out iCloud Account and then Log in

By signing out iCloud, you can rest iCloud’s authentication. Signing in back to the same network would do the trick for most of the users.

For iOS 10.3 or newer users:

Step 1: Go to Settings app on the iOS device and touch your name.

Step 2: Go to iCloud and scroll to the bottom.

Step 3: Tap on the option Sign Out. Provide your password and choose to Turn Off.

Step 4: Tap on Sign Out and choose Sign Out once again to confirm it. Now, wait for a while and go to Settings once again.

Step 5: Tap in Sign in and enter the Apple credentials. Tap Sign In and enter the passcode.

For iOS 10.2 or older:

Step 1: Go to Settings and select iCloud.

Step 2: Then scroll down to the bottom of the screen and select Sign Out.

Step 3: Launch Settings app and go to iCloud. Sign in and enter the passcode.

Solution 5. Reset Network Settings

If you still struggling with the issue, just try to reset Network Settings.

Step 1: Go to Settings app on your device and select General.

Step 2: Then, scroll down and tap the option Reset.

Step 3: Tap on the option Reset Network Settings.

Solution 6. Reset Your Apple ID Password

If the problem persists, you should try resetting the Apple ID Password.

Step 1: Go to Settings app and tap on your name.

Step 2: Then, you should go to Password & Settings option.

Step 3: Now, you can select the option “Change Password”.

Step 4: You can now enter the existing password or device password.

Step 5: Then, enter the new password and confirm it. Tap on the option Change Password.

Solution 7. Fix iCloud Keeps Asking for Password on iPhone/iPad without Data Loss

You may aware that some of the fixes we try when our iOS devices are faulty can cause data loss. For instance, if you perform a factory to fix this iCloud issue, that will cause obvious data loss.

Apple Stops Signing iOS 12.2, Downgrading from iOS 12.3 No Longer Possible

After the release of iOS 12.3 in the last week of April, Apple has now stopped signing iOS 12.2. This means if you have already upgraded to iOS 12.3, you won’t be able to downgrade back to iOS 12.2.

The jailbreak community usually recommends one to stay on the lowest iOS release possible.

There are two iOS 12 – iOS 12.12 jailbreak tools available right now, and it is unlikely that we are going to see an iOS 12.2 or higher jailbreak becoming available now, especially since Apple will announce iOS 13 at WWDC 2019 next month. Before iOS 13 drops though, Apple will also release iOS 12.4 which will bring Apple Card support to the OS.

Plus, iOS 12.3 brings a number of new features to the table including a redesigned TV app, Apple TV Channels, AirPlay 2 support for smart TVs, and plenty of bug fixes.

With no iOS 12.2 jailbreak on the horizon, if your iPhone or iPad is already running iOS 12.3, you should just stick to it and enjoy the new features offered by it.
