LG has announced the US pricing and launch date of its CineBeam PU700R projector. The new model was unveiled at CES and launched in South Korea and the EU, earlier this year, selling at retailers like Heimkino.de. The design of the PU700R is somewhat similar to the Samsung The Freestyle, with a round device on a rotating stand, allowing you to adjust the angle of the beam up to 90°.Chuwi gemibook
The CineBeam PU700R 4K UHD projector can throw images from 60 to 120-in (~152 to 305 cm) wide with a 1.2 throw ratio. The device has an RGB LED light source with up to 1,000 ANSI lumens brightness and a 30,000-hour life expectancy, supporting HDR10, HDR and HLG. Plus, you can perfect the image with a keystone correction tool. The Smart webOS provides apps including Apple TV, Disney+ and YouTube, and you can wirelessly screen mirror via Apple AirPlay 2 or Screen Share. Other features include support for Apple Home and built-in 5W mono speakers, with the ability to connect external speakers via Bluetooth; ports on the gadget include HDMI 2.1 ARC, USB-C and USB-A ports.
When you aren’t watching TV, you could use the projector for mood lighting, choosing from seven colors. The compact projector measures 6.4 x 12.0 x 5.7-in (~16.3 x 30.5 x 14.5 cm) and weighs 6.8 lbs (~3.1 kg). You can now buy the LG CineBeam PU700R projector in the US for US$1,699. Customers who purchase the gadget before June 11 will receive a free LG XBOOM 360 Bluetooth speaker, worth US$299.99, with their projector. It is unclear when the product will be available directly from LG in Europe.
